A compact dwarf, evergreen shrub with dark green leaves, red-brown beneath. Clusters of broadly, funnel-shaped, reddish purple to dark blue, sometimes white flowers in spring. Height 1.5m. Spread 1.2m. Flower colour red, purple, blue, white. Flowers from march to may. Evergreen. Foliage colour green. Hardy. Planting instructions back-fill with soil mixed with peat and a suitable fertiliser.
