Winged spindle. A very dense shrub with dark green leaves turning brilliant red in autumn. Stems have corky wings. Almost round reddish purple fruit opening to orange seeds. Height 2m. Spread 3m. Flower colour green. Flowers from april to june. Fruit colour red, purple. Deciduous. Foliage colour green. Hardy. Planting instructions back-fill with soil mixed with peat and a suitable fertiliser. Harmful if eaten.
