A rounded tree with dark green leaves and large goblet-shaped flowers in varying shades of dark purple-pink through to white from mid to late spring before the leaves. Height 6m. Spread 6m. Flower colour purple, pink, white. Flowers from april to may. Deciduous. Foliage colour green. Hardy. Shelter from cold drying winds. Planting instructions back-fill with soil mixed with peat and a suitable fertiliser.
